Editing

In our music video we plan to use,
-Slow pace soft transitions
-Fast cut montage
-Digital effects, split screens, colourisation.
We think these effects of editing will be good because it will give more depth to the video, it will also add principles of goodwin's theory, as when using some of these editing effects we can match lyrics to visuals, e.g. "i want to be where the sky is brighter" we can use over exposure which will make it look as if the sun is shining brighter.

Planning-Camera Work

In our music video we will plan to use,
-Dynamic camera work, using still images will help create a sense of intimacy and also provide close-up's.
-Close up predominates (music video played on small screen)
-Create a sense of intimacy for the viewer, sells the music as well as the artist
I think this type of camera work will be good because it will give an element of intimacy to the artist and viewer.
